The Partners are very pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Tisch, previously an Associate with our firm to ‘Senior Associate’ to reflect her seniority, expertise and time with the Hollister-Jones Lellman.
We are excited to announce Greg Hollister-Jones appointment as an acting District Court Judge, to sit in Rotorua. Greg was appointed the first Crown Solicitor for Tauranga in 1998 and was a foundation partner of the firm. For the past 19 years Greg has prosecuted many high profile cases from the Bay of Plenty including the Michael Curran manslaughter and murder trials and the murder of Opotiki pensioner John Rowe by two teenage girls.
The offices of HJL will be closed for the holiday break from 3pm Friday 23 December 2016 and re-opening again Monday 16 January 2017
As from 1 October 2015 we are merging our practice with Andrew Blair and he will join us at our current premises at Monmouth House. Andrew will be joining us as a Consultant and will be working full time. Andrew will continue to specialise in the areas of commercial, conveyancing, trusts, wills and estates. The other services and expertise we already provide at Hollister-Jones Lellman in family law, employment law, civil litigation, dispute resolution and Crown Prosecution will continue without change. One of our solicitors, Jo Tisch, is a keen age group triathlete having represented New Zealand at the World Championships on a number of occasions. With an interest in governance she sits on the Boards of Sport Bay of Plenty and Triathlon NZ Inc. She is the recipient of a Sport NZ Women in Governance Scholarship for the 2014 year.
